The ADATA XPG MARS 980 PRO 4TB (SMAR-980P-4TCI) is a flagship PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD designed for high-performance gaming systems, professional workstations, and next-generation PCs. Using the PCIe Gen5 x4 interface, it delivers exceptional speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s read and 13,000 MB/s write, providing roughly double the performance of PCIe Gen4 SSDs and dramatically improving system responsiveness.

Built with 232-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory and a Silicon Motion SM2508 controller, the drive delivers extremely fast sequential and random performance while maintaining excellent endurance and reliability for demanding workloads.

To maintain stable speeds under sustained workloads, the SSD includes a precision aluminium heatsink with an integrated turbo fan that actively cools the drive. The fan is powered directly through the M.2 slot, eliminating the need for extra cables while helping reduce temperatures compared with passive cooling solutions.

The MARS 980 PRO supports NVMe 2.0 and is designed for the latest Intel and AMD platforms while remaining fully backward compatible with PCIe Gen4 and Gen3 motherboards.
