The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 6 is designed for business users who need strong productivity performance, extensive connectivity and mobile broadband in a compact 14-inch platform. The 21S60071ZA combines Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 architecture with upgradeable DDR5 memory, enterprise-grade security and Lenovo’s established ThinkPad design.

At its core is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255U processor, featuring 12 cores and 14 threads in a hybrid configuration of 2 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores and 2 Low Power Efficient cores. With boost speeds reaching up to 5.20GHz and 12MB Intel® Smart Cache, it provides strong performance for business applications, large spreadsheets, browser-heavy workflows, conferencing and demanding multitasking.

Dedicated AI processing is handled by the integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU, delivering up to 12 TOPS of NPU performance. This provides hardware acceleration for supported AI-enhanced applications and Windows features while helping offload compatible workloads from the CPU.

The notebook comes equipped with 32GB DDR5-5600 memory configured as 2 × 16GB SO-DIMMs. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots support dual-channel operation and a maximum memory capacity of up to 64GB, providing an excellent upgrade path for demanding professional workloads.

Storage is provided by a spacious 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe Opal 2.0 SSD, delivering fast Windows startup, responsive application loading and plenty of capacity for business documents, applications and project files. The platform supports one M.2 2280 SSD with configurations up to 2TB.

The 14-inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) IPS display provides a productivity-friendly 16:10 workspace with 400-nit brightness, 45% NTSC colour coverage, 60Hz refresh rate and an anti-glare surface. Its taller aspect ratio provides additional vertical workspace for documents, spreadsheets and browser applications while keeping the laptop compact and portable.

A major advantage of this configuration is its integrated Quectel EM061K-GL 4G LTE Cat 6 mobile broadband modem, supporting both Nano-SIM and embedded eSIM functionality. This allows professionals to remain connected when reliable Wi-Fi is unavailable, making the L14 particularly useful for travelling employees and mobile business users.

Connectivity also includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth® 5.3 and Gigabit Ethernet. Physical connectivity is particularly comprehensive, with three USB-A ports, two Thunderbolt™ 4 / USB4 40Gbps USB-C ports supporting USB Power Delivery 3.1 and DisplayPort™ 2.1, HDMI® 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, Nano-SIM and a 3.5mm audio combination jack.

For hybrid working and secure authentication, the ThinkPad features a 5MP + IR camera with privacy shutter, supporting Windows Hello facial recognition. A Match-on-Chip fingerprint reader integrated into the power button provides an additional biometric login method, while discrete TPM 2.0 helps secure encryption keys and credentials.

Despite its extensive business features, the ThinkPad L14 remains highly portable, starting at approximately 1.38kg. The Black PC-ABS chassis has also passed MIL-STD-810H testing, helping provide additional confidence for everyday professional and mobile use.
