True Power Design
Gigabyte use true power phases, a fully load-balanced VRM design with doublers, and a tantalum polymer capacitor array. For sudden changes between idle and high load states from the CPU, GIGABYTE utilizes a tantalum polymer capacitor array directly under the CPU socket as a buffer which is used to to improve transient response and stability under high CPU frequencies.
Thermal Reactive Armour
The innovative thermal design ensures the best CPU, chipset and SSD stability, and low temperatures under full load apps and gaming.
Fins-Array II
Gigabyte have also provided a thermal solution for large capacity M.2 SSD devices with double side flash- the M.2 Thermal Guard II uses double-sided heatsink design to prevent throttling and bottlenecks on high speed M.2 SSDs by dissipating heat.
Direct-Touch Heatpipe II
The new Direct-Touch Heatpipe II features an extra large 8mm pipe made from a new process to narrow the gap between the heatpipe and heatsink. This greatly helps transfer heat on MOSFETs.
Nano-Carbon Baseplate
The aluminium baseplate ensures 3X thermal conductivity. The base plate is coated in a thin layer of Nano Carbon to enhance thermal radiation capability.
Xtreme Memory Design
The “Xtreme Memory” technology used includes Shielded Memory Routing, SMT DIMM, and Tantalum Polymer Capacitors Array to minimise all noise and electrical interference and reach the highest memory clock.
