The HP ZBook 8 G1i combines professional workstation capabilities with exceptional mobility, making it ideal for engineers, designers, creators and business professionals who need access to demanding applications while travelling or working between locations. The ZBook 8 platform is designed to deliver professional-level performance without the size and weight traditionally associated with mobile workstations, with this 14-inch chassis starting at only 1.45kg.

At its core is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255H processor, featuring 16 cores, 16 threads, 24MB Intel® Smart Cache and boost speeds of up to 5.10GHz. An integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU delivering up to 13 TOPS provides dedicated acceleration for supported AI workloads, helping compatible applications distribute tasks between the CPU, GPU and NPU.

Professional graphics performance is provided by the NVIDIA RTX 500 Ada Generation Laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 dedicated memory. This dedicated professional GPU provides acceleration for CAD, design, 3D visualisation, content creation and compatible GPU-accelerated professional applications. The system also incorporates Intel® Arc™ 140T Graphics for integrated graphics workloads.

The CF8H9ET is equipped with 32GB DDR5-5600 memory in a 1 × 32GB configuration. The ZBook 8 G1i provides two accessible SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 64GB memory, leaving one slot available for straightforward future expansion.

Storage is provided by a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, delivering fast boot times, responsive application loading and generous capacity for professional applications, business data and large project files. The high-speed local PCIe storage makes the workstation well suited to professionals regularly working with substantial datasets and project assets.

The 14-inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) IPS display features a productivity-focused 16:10 aspect ratio, anti-glare treatment, low-power technology, 300 nits brightness and 62.5% sRGB colour coverage. This specific configuration uses a non-touch display, balancing usable workspace with the portability benefits of the compact 14-inch chassis.

Connectivity is comprehensive for such a compact workstation. Two Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C 40Gbps ports support USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort™ 2.1, complemented by an additional USB-C 20Gbps port, USB-A 5Gbps powered port, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and combination headphone/microphone connection. Wi-Fi 7 provides modern high-speed wireless connectivity in compatible network environments.

For hybrid collaboration and security, the ZBook 8 G1i includes a 5MP IR camera, fingerprint reader and HP business security technologies. HP Sure Start provides self-healing BIOS protection, while the premium spill-resistant keyboard incorporates drainage to help protect against minor accidental spills. This specific CF8H9ET configuration does not include a Smart Card reader or mobile broadband module.

Mobility is one of the ZBook 8 G1i’s major strengths. Measuring approximately 315.6 × 222 × 18.9mm and starting at only 1.45kg, it provides dedicated professional graphics in a chassis suitable for frequent travel. HP Fast Charge can recharge the battery from zero to approximately 50% in 30 minutes under supported conditions.
