The HP ZBook X G1i is engineered to bring professional workstation performance to demanding workflows including 3D modelling, CAD, engineering, architectural design, rendering, content creation and AI-accelerated applications. HP combines professional-grade components with ISV-certified performance, an aluminium chassis and redesigned thermal management, making the ZBook X a capable platform for professionals who need to take complex projects beyond the office.

At its core is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285H processor, featuring 16 cores, 24MB cache, frequencies from 2.70GHz up to 5.40GHz, and an integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU delivering up to 13 TOPS. This combination provides strong performance for demanding professional applications while dedicated NPU hardware accelerates supported AI tasks.

Professional graphics performance comes from the NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell Generation Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 dedicated memory. The RTX PRO Blackwell architecture is designed for professional graphics and compute workloads, making this configuration particularly suitable for complex 3D modelling, visualisation, GPU rendering and AI-accelerated workflows.

The C9TT8ES is equipped with 32GB DDR5-5600 memory in a 1 × 32GB configuration. The ZBook X G1i platform provides two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB memory, leaving a second slot available for future expansion. This provides a useful upgrade path for users working with increasingly complex projects, large datasets and memory-intensive applications.

Storage is provided by a 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, delivering fast boot times, responsive application loading and generous capacity for professional applications and project files. High-speed local PCIe storage is particularly beneficial when working with large CAD assemblies, media projects and other substantial professional datasets.

The 16-inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) UWVA display features a productivity-focused 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, anti-glare treatment, 300 nits brightness and 62.5% sRGB colour coverage. The larger 16-inch workspace provides additional room for professional applications, timelines, spreadsheets and multitasking while retaining a manageable mobile workstation footprint.

Connectivity includes Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C at up to 40Gbps, HDMI 2.1, USB-A connectivity, RJ-45 Ethernet, an SD card slot and a combination audio connection. This gives professionals flexible connectivity for external displays, docks, storage devices, network infrastructure and other workstation peripherals.

For professional collaboration and security, the ZBook X G1i includes a 5MP IR camera, fingerprint reader and HP’s business security technologies. HP Sure Start provides self-healing BIOS protection, while the HP Premium spill-resistant keyboard includes a numeric keypad and drainage design to help protect against minor accidental spills. This specific C9TT8ES configuration does not include a Smart Card reader or mobile broadband module.

HP has redesigned the ZBook X thermal solution for sustained professional workloads. A dual-fan cooling design with optimised thermal ventilation, HP Smart Sense and BIOS-level intelligent power distribution work together to balance CPU and GPU performance, power consumption and thermals according to the workload being performed.
