The HP ZBook 8 G1i combines professional workstation capabilities with excellent mobility, making it an ideal choice for engineers, designers, creators and business professionals who need access to demanding applications while travelling or working between locations. HP designed the ZBook 8 around the concept of delivering professional performance without substantially increasing notebook size, creating a sleek mobile workstation starting at just 1.45kg.

At its core is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255H processor, featuring 16 cores, 16 threads, 24MB Intel® Smart Cache and boost speeds of up to 5.10GHz. An integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU delivering up to 13 TOPS provides dedicated hardware acceleration for supported AI workloads, allowing compatible applications to distribute tasks efficiently between the CPU, GPU and NPU.

Professional graphics performance is provided by the NVIDIA RTX 500 Ada Generation Laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 dedicated memory. This dedicated professional GPU makes the ZBook suitable for CAD, design, 3D visualisation, content creation and GPU-accelerated professional applications. The system also incorporates Intel® Arc™ 140T Graphics for integrated graphics workloads and improved efficiency.

The CF8H4ET is equipped with 24GB DDR5-5600 memory in a 2 × 12GB dual-channel configuration. The ZBook 8 G1i platform provides two accessible SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB memory, allowing the workstation to be upgraded should future professional workloads require additional capacity.

Storage is provided by a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, offering fast boot times, responsive application loading and generous capacity for professional applications, business documents and project files. HP’s ZBook 8 platform also supports multiple PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage configurations depending on model.

The 14-inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) display uses a productivity-focused 16:10 aspect ratio and features anti-glare treatment, low-power technology, 300 nits brightness and 62.5% sRGB colour coverage. Its compact 14-inch form factor makes the CF8H4ET particularly well suited to mobile professionals who want a useful professional workspace without carrying a larger 16- or 18-inch workstation.

Connectivity includes Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE201, Bluetooth® 5.4 and Gigabit Ethernet. Two Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C 40Gbps ports provide USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort™ 2.1 support, complemented by an additional USB-C 20Gbps port, USB-A 5Gbps powered port, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and combination headphone/microphone connection.

For professional collaboration and security, the ZBook 8 G1i includes a 5MP IR camera, fingerprint reader and HP’s advanced business security technologies. HP Sure Start provides self-healing BIOS protection, while the premium backlit spill-resistant keyboard is designed to withstand minor everyday spills. This specific CF8H4ET configuration does not include a Smart Card reader or mobile broadband module.

Mobility is one of the ZBook 8 G1i’s greatest strengths. The compact chassis measures approximately 315.6 × 222 × 18.9mm and starts at only 1.45kg, making it substantially easier to carry than larger workstation-class notebooks. HP Fast Charge can recharge compatible configurations from zero to approximately 50% in 30 minutes, further enhancing its suitability for professionals on the move.
